LA Pride is thrilled to be a community partner of the QUEER RHAPSODY FILMS SERIES.

Scene from Desire Lines, July 27,  Egyptian Theatre

Organized by LA Pride sponsor, the UCLA Film & Television Archive, the series creates joyful, communal and brave spaces for radical engagement among film fans, arts leaders and queer culture workers at a volatile time when identities and communities are under fire.

Scene from Solids by the Seashore, July 24, Eagle Theater

Curated by an independent programming team in collaboration with cultural partners, this exceptional summer film series includes works from LGBTQ+ writers, directors, and documentarians from Nigeria, Canada, Thailand, Iran, South Korea, and more, all showcased at five venerable LA theater spaces:

    • UCLA Film & Television Archive at The Billy Wilder Theater At The Hammer Museum
    • Eagle Theatre at Vidiots
    • Oculus Hall at The Broad
    • American Cinematheque at Los Feliz 3 Theatre
    • American Cinematheque at The Egyptian Theatre

Be sure to check out Transcendent Movements: Queer Artists in Motion on July 27, featuring a short about LA Pride in the Park alumni, Saturn Risin9.
