LA Pride Trans Self-Care Sunday:
Pride 365 and Our Commitment Beyond June
A Special, Free Day of Beauty and Belonging to Celebrate Trans Day of Visibility 2026

LOS ANGELES, CA – Mar. 9, 2026 – For over five decades, Christopher Street West (CSW), the 501(c)3 nonprofit that produces LA Pride, has brought the LGBTQ+ community together in celebration, protest, and pride. The LA Parade & Festival remains a powerful symbol of visibility and unity.
But Pride is not just a moment. It is a movement.
Through Pride 365, LA Pride is expanding its year-round commitment to meaningful community impact across Los Angeles. The work now extends beyond celebration and into sustained programming that centers wellbeing, access, and restoration for communities within LGBTQ+ spaces who continue to face disproportionate barriers.
On Sunday, March 29, in honor of Transgender Day of Visibility, LA Pride will host the 2nd Annual Trans Self-Care Sunday at HEIMAT Los Angeles, 960 N La Brea Ave, LA, 90038.
This free gathering is intentionally designed for Trans and gender-expansive community members ages 18+. It is not a traditional resource fair. It is a curated, affirming space offering tangible care and connection.

2026 attendees will receive:
• Complimentary hair and makeup glow-ups with support from Daniel Rose MUA, DressCode Project, Henkel, KimChi Beauty and MAC Cosmetics
• Gender-affirming clothing courtesy of H&M and The Plus Bus / Perfect 10+
• Wellness gift bags
• One-on-one connection with trusted community counselors and service providers
• Gender-inclusive manicures from InkedClawz
• Empowerment In Heels present as both performance and community resource
• Hosted by the gorgeous and magical ChiChi Charlas, 2025 LA Pride Village stage MC!

This gathering is strengthened through partnership with organizations doing vital work every day in our city, including APAIT, Gender Justice LA, Know Other Festival, Invisible T Men, Open Space Therapy Collective, Pansy Esthetics, PFLAG, SAFTY, Translatin@ Coalition, and TransCanWork.
Trans Self-Care Sunday reflects LA Pride’s 365 continuing mission to expand its responsibility to the community beyond a single weekend in June, and invest in programming that delivers real, immediate support.
