It’s time to “#TacoThursday for a Cause” at your local Chipotle restaurant across Los Angeles County on Thursday, May 17.
May 14, LOS ANGELES – Christopher Street West (CSW), the 501(c)3 non-profit that produces the annual LA Pride Festival and Parade, is teaming up with Chipotle Mexican Grill for a county-wide fundraiser to support of LA’s LGBTQ+ community. On Thursday, May 17, all LA County Chipotle restaurants will donate 50 percent of fundraiser sales to support the programs, initiatives, and events organized by the LA Pride team.
Participating is easy: simply mention the fundraiser to the cashier before paying.
Please note that online, mobile (app), and delivery orders will not count towards the fundraiser.
“We are excited to team up with Chipotle to spread a little love – and guac – in the lead up to Pride season,” said Estevan Montemayor, newly elected CSW Board President. “We thank the entire team at Chipotle for supporting LA’s LGBTQ+ community. We’re so excited to partner with them in hosting our very first #TacoThursday fundraiser. We hope it’ll be a delicious success!”
Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit events like the annual LA Pride Parade as well as community-wide programs like the CSW philanthropy, Casa del Sol, a joint project with APLA Health that provides low-income housing to people living with HIV/AIDS.
Mark your calendars – and make this Thursday, May 17 a #TacoThursday to remember! Feel free to join our Facebook event to get reminders and updates.

About Christopher Street West (CSW) & LA Pride
Christopher Street West (CSW), a 501(c)3 non-profit, organized the world’s first permitted parade advocating for gay rights on June 28, 1970, as a response to and in commemoration of the Stonewall Rebellion on Christopher Street in New York City the year prior. Since then, we have built a rich history as an active voice for the LGBTQ+ community across the Greater Los Angeles metropolitan area. Today, we continue to produce the globally-recognized LA Pride Parade and Festival every June in the City of West Hollywood. We also organize a number of events throughout the year with our non-profit, philanthropic, community, and corporate partners. Visit lapride.org for more information.
