Trans Self-Care Sunday: Our Commitment Beyond June

For over five decades, LA Pride has brought our community together in celebration, protest, and pride. The LA Pride Parade & Festival remain powerful symbols of visibility and unity.
But Pride is not just a moment. It is a movement.
Through Pride 365, LA Pride is expanding our year-round commitment to meaningful community impact across Los Angeles. Our work now extends beyond celebration and into sustained programming that centers wellbeing, access, and restoration for communities within LGBTQ+ spaces who continue to face disproportionate barriers.
On Sunday, March 29, in honor of Transgender Day of Visibility, LA Pride will host
Second Annual Trans Self-Care Sunday at Heimat, Los Angeles.
This free, curated gathering is designed specifically for Trans and gender-expansive community members. Join us for an intimate, gender-affirming experience featuring complimentary offerings made possible by LA Pride and our generous partners.
Guests will have access to:
- Hair and makeup glow-ups with support from Daniel Rose MUA, DressCode Project, Henkel, and MAC Cosmetics
- Gender-affirming clothing provided by H&M, The Plus Bus / Perfect 10+, and local organizations (first-come, first-served)
- Beauty and wellness gift bags (while supplies last)
- One-on-one connection with trusted community counselors and service providers including APAIT, Gender Justice LA, Invisible T Men, Know Other Festival, Open Space Therapy Collective, Pansy Esthetics, SAFTY, Translatin@ Coalition, and TransCanWork
- Hugs and parental care from PFLAG
- Gender-inclusive manicures from InkedClawz
- Dance performance by Empowerment In Heels
- Hosted by Drag artist ChiChi Charlas!

Whether you sit for a glow-up, connect with a counselor, explore affirming fashion, or simply spend time in community, Trans Self-Care Sunday centers wellbeing, connection, and care.
This event is free to attend. Capacity is filling up fast, and available on a first-come, first-served basis for select services.
Trans Self-Care Sunday is made possible by our
wonderful donors and community partners!
