LA PRIDE PARADE 2026
The LA Pride Parade is the oldest and most iconic Pride parade in SoCal. Now in its 56th year, we’ll be on Hollywood Blvd with another massive showing of community, celebration, and PRIDE!
This year’s Grand Marshals are very special and dear to us.

Celebrity Grand Marshal, JEFF HILLER is an Emmy-winning actor and comedian, honored in 2025 with the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy for his portrayal as “Joel” on HBO’s acclaimed series, Somebody Somewhere. In addition to publishing his memoir, Actress of a Certain Age, (a must-read!) he guest-starred opposite Rhea Seehorn on this season of Pluribus for Apple TV+. Jeff recently sold a pilot to Universal Cable Productions, and is developing a project with Zachary Quinto, so we’ll be seeing more of Jeff soon and we can’t wait!
Community Grand Marshal, MIA YAMAMOTO is a transgender, LA-based LGBTQ+ civil rights activist and criminal defense attorney. Born in a Japanese-American internment camp during World War II, Mia rose above to attend Cal State, and serve in the U.S. Army, where she was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, and Vietnam Campaign and Service Medals. Lauded by her peers with numerous awards and accolades, Mia also received the Rainbow Key Award from the City of West Hollywood, and the Harvey Milk Legacy Award, by LA Pride in 2012.
Legacy Grand Marshal, SHIRLEY RAINES passed away in 2025 and is being honored posthumously for her work as a humanitarian, activist, and the Founder of Beauty 2 the Streetz. A transformative figure in the Skid Row community where she was affectionately known as “Ms. Shirley,” Raines redefined street outreach by championing beauty and self-care as a fundamental human right. Ms. Shirley received the 2025 NAACP Image Award for leveraging her powerful social media presence to humanize and amplify the voices of Skid Row.
What to expect at the 2026 LA Pride Parade
TIME: The Parade starts at 11AM, and takes about three hours, from start to finish.
ROUTE: The Parade steps off at Sunset at Highland, travels north to Hollywood Blvd, then heads east on Hollywood Blvd, and then turns south onto Cahuenga. The Parade ends at Cahuenga at Sunset. ABC7/KABC will broadcast the parade, live, with their hosts stationed at Hollywood High School on Highland.

VIEWING: There are no bad spots to watch the Parade! If you don’t like crowds, the most congested areas to avoid are the corners of Hollywood & Highland, and Hollywood & Cahuenga.
SPEAKING OF CROWDS: The LA Pride Parade is the most attended Pride Parade in the region by almost 100%. Thank you, LA! As a First Amendment event that’s free to the public and welcomes all ages, you can expect a large turn out. Please be kind, patient and sweet to those around you. Pride is about community and good vibes!
We do not recommend bringing pets to the Parade- it can be extremely crowded, and June temperatures can make the streets very hot.
STREET CLOSURES: The final street plan will be published soon. Watch this space for more information as it becomes available.
GETTING TO THE PARADE: LA Metro is the Official Transit Partner of LA Pride!

The Hollywood/Highland spot is going to get a Pride makeover and renamed Hollywood & Prideland, and is an obvious choice for your arrival since it’s literally on the parade route. Also, the Hollywood/Vine, aka Hollywood & Pride, is a good choice.
Visit LA Metro to plan your trip to Pride.

PARKING: If you plan to drive, we recommend booking convenient and affordable parking in advance through SpotHero, the nation’s leading parking reservations app.
To reserve your parking spot for the LA Pride Parade, visit the LA Pride SpotHero Parking Page.
WATCH FROM HOME: If you’d rather celebrate Pride from your couch, the Parade is broadcast live, from 11AM – 1PM on ABC7/KABC, our longtime Official Television & Streaming Partner, and streamed on HULU. ABC7 also produces a wonderful pre-show with color commentary and a performance, making the LA Pride Parade is the most-watched Pride telecast in SoCal!
More info and a few surprises to be announced! See you on the Boulevard!
