You may have read that Pride nonprofits around the country are seeing fewer and lower sponsorships. With less revenue, and rising costs, producing free community events like the LA Pride Parade & Festival is more challenging than ever. LA Pride is a small nonprofit, founded for, and by, the LGBTQ+ community in 1970. Fifty-five years later, it is still producing free Pride events for the LGBTQ+ community of Los Angeles.
LA Pride’s community partner, Custom Ink, stepped in to show their support by creating a limited edition LA Pride shirt. All proceeds from this commemorative shirt will be donated to LA Pride.
