PHOTOS: Salon Series

Our Salon Series events in 2023 explored two very different topics in the arts: Lesbian Comedy, and the Queer Eye in Art. Nearly 200 people attended the Lesbian Comics event, which featured lesbian and queer television writers, directors, producers, actors and stand-up comics Erin Foley, Gloria Bigelow, Cameron Esposito, Page Hurwitz, and Fortune Feimster. The moderator was former Advocate editor-in-chief, Tracy Gilchrist.

For Pride Month, the Getty Center hosted a very special Salon at the beautiful Getty Museum, exploring the queer eye in art, and how the artists’ own experiences inform their perspective, and their work.
