The official LA Pride Parade, LA Pride in the Park & more
We held the first permitted gay parade in the world in 1970. Over 50 years later, we are still the official Pride parade of LA!
To apply to be a part of this iconic LGBTQ+ procession taking place on Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, on Sunday, June 12, fill out the parade application form by clicking the button below.
Application deadline is April 4. Requests always exceed capacity, so give us your best parade proposal!
The LA Pride Community Grand Marshal is a person, group, or nonprofit whose extraordinary accomplishments, contributions, or dedication has benefitted the LGBTQ+ community of LA.
Past community grand marshals have included PFLAG LA, The Trevor Project, Rev. Troy Perry, the Prop 8 lawsuit plaintiffs, and the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
This year, we want to know who do you think has made a positive and meaningful impact on the LGBTQ+ community.
The chosen nominee will be announced in the near future, and featured in the LA Pride Parade on Sunday, June 12!
In 1970, we organized a parade on Hollywood Blvd. to commemorate the first anniversary of the Stonewall Riots. We had to file a lawsuit to get that parade permit, and with the help of the ACLU, we made history when we won!
Join us SUNDAY, JUNE 12 as we bring the parade back to Hollywood, and our roots.
Want to be in the parade? The application window is now open. Click the button below to be taken to the parade application.
