    🏳️‍⚧️ Transgender Awareness Week + Transgender Day of Remembrance This week, we honor the strength, beauty, and resilience of our trans community, and remember the lives lost to anti-trans violence. At LA Pride, we’re proud to have trans voices represented in our leadership. Our board members Mistress Cyan and Nik Kacy remind us that visibility is more than representation — it’s a call to action, to create a world where every trans person is safe, seen, and celebrated. As Mistress shared, “Transgender awareness week is a time that reminds people that our lives are real, our stories matter, and our existence is worth celebration.     🌈⚾️ Did you know? Before the Dodgers made back-to-back World Series history, two trailblazing players helped make history of their own. Glenn Burke and Billy Bean, MLB’s first two openly gay players, both wore Dodger blue. Their courage helped open doors for future generations of LGBTQ+ athletes. We’re proud of Glenn and Billy.
