About LA Pride
LA Pride is produced by Christopher Street West Association (CSW), the 501(c)(3) nonprofit that organized the world’s first permitted LGBT parade on June 28, 1970, to commemorate the Stonewall Riots in New York City the year prior. Today, CSW remains an active voice for the LGBTQ+ community of Greater Los Angeles. While best known for producing the original and iconic LA Pride Parade & Festival, CSW also organizes, sponsors or supports community events throughout the year, and works with its nonprofit, philanthropic, and community partners to serve the Pride community.
