LOS ANGELES (Jan 2, 2024) – The Los Angeles Zoo, in partnership with LA Pride, will host a Pride Edition of its wildly popular after-dark show, “L.A. Zoo Lights: Animals Aglow,” on Thursday, Jan. 4 from 6-10 PM. All LGBTQ+ friends, families, and allies can celebrate the New Year at the Zoo’s truly magical experience that takes guests through a colorful wonderland of desert, garden, and jungle landscapes filled with over 30 larger-than-life animal light sculptures, animated and interactive displays, roaming live entertainment, and photo opportunities.
All ages are welcome to enjoy the Pride Night festivities and experience the magic of L.A. Zoo Lights: Animals Aglow in a supportive and inclusive environment that will include exclusive Pride features:
- DANCE PARTY: Located at the Treetops Terrace, hot hot DJ Brynn Taylor will be spinning for party people of all ages
- FULL COCKTAIL BAR: What would Pride Night be without two signature Pride Night cocktails — “Pride Punch” and “Taste the Rainbow,” served with a side of Skittles! 21-and-over, only.
- SELFIE PARADISE: Fun Pride photo opportunities throughout the Animals Aglow exhibit.
To ensure all LGBTQ+ guests feel respected and welcome, the Zoo consulted with LA Pride board member, Addison Rose Vincent in 2023, on the restroom policy for Pride Night. All guests will be able use the restroom they choose with explicit signs from the Zoo urging everyone to respect everyone else.
Visit the L.A. Zoo website for ticket info. BE SURE TO CHOOSE THE PRIDE NIGHT TICKET LINK in the Community Nights section.
See you there!
